The 8 mm GDTs feature optional proprietary Switch-Grade failsafe providing continuous fault current protection of over 60 ARMS continuous duty. Bourns GDTs also feature the industry"s highest surge current carrying capability and many lead configurations well-suited to standard industry applications. The Bourns Mini 5 mm two- and three-electrode GDT offer space saving up to 60% over the larger 8 mm style. The Bourns ‘Mini’ boasts performance rivaling that of competitors" larger 8 mm GDT devices. The 5 mm GDT comes in many industry standard lead configurations making the use of the miniature GDT versatile and convenient.
