●The board allows evaluating the advantages provided by the larger lead frame area of the TO-247PLUS package as well as the performance improvement given by the Kelvin emitter connection of the TO-247PLUS 4pin package.

●Two different modes of operation can be realized with this board. It can be used to investigate switching behavior and measure IGBT and diode losses at different test conditions. Also the board can be used in continuous operation. From the basic phase-leg topology, it is possible to configure it as a step-down or step-up DC-DC converter.
