●The RC1180-RC232 is a 868MHz to 870MHz low cost multichannel RF transceiver module. This is a compact surface mounted high performance module for FSK operation with embedded protocol. The module is completely shielded and precertified for operation under the European radio regulations for license free use. The module contains a communication controller with embedded RC232 protocol software, a high performance RF transceiver and an internal voltage regulator. This module offers a buffered packet radio in the RC232 embedded protocol. Using the buffered packet radio mode, all data to be sent is stored in the module before they are transmitted by the RF circuitry. The module can be set in SLEEP mode in order to reduce the power consumption.
